Novandino Litio, the joint venture between Chile's Codelco and SQM, plans to submit its environmental impact assessment for the Salar Futuro lithium project this June. The $2-3.5 billion initiative aims to produce between 280,000-300,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate equivalent annually, representing a major expansion of Chile's lithium production capacity.
