Lynas Rare Earths has signed a binding letter of intent to supply the Pentagon with rare-earth oxides over a four-year period worth $96 million. The deal includes a $110/kg floor price for neodymium-praseodymium oxide, as the US seeks to reduce dependence on China's near-monopoly over the rare earth supply chain.
