Chinese rare earth producer hikes Q2 price by 44%

China Northern Rare Earth Group set its Q2 2026 rare earth concentrate price at 38,804 yuan per tonne, a 44.6% increase over Q1 and more than double year-over-year. The hike reflects tightening supply conditions amid the Middle East conflict and China's planned restrictions on sulphuric acid exports.
