US, Australia offer $600M backing for rare earth refinery project

Australia and the US offered up to $600 million in financing for a rare earths refinery by Tronox Holdings, one of the most concrete commitments under their critical minerals partnership. They also issued support for Ardea Resources' nickel-cobalt project in Western Australia.
