EU launches operations of critical minerals procurement platform

The European Union has launched the critical minerals section of its energy and materials procurement platform, aiming to aggregate purchases from regional buyers and reduce dependence on China. The first round of buyer-seller connections focuses on rare earths, battery and defense raw materials.
