Critical Metals stock surges after taking full control of Greenland rare earth project

Greenland approved Critical Metals' indirect transfer of the Tanbreez rare earth mining license, allowing the company to reach 92.5% ownership of the project. The stock surged 23.6% in pre-market trading to $11.46/share, valuing the company at $1.4 billion. Tanbreez is positioned as one of the largest undeveloped heavy rare earth deposits outside China.
