IGO posts revenue jump but slashes outlook for major lithium mine

Australian miner IGO posted a 45% sequential rise in third-quarter revenue driven by higher nickel sales volumes and prices, but slashed its annual output outlook for the world's biggest hard-rock lithium mine, Greenbushes. The miner now expects spodumene production of 1,375-1,425 kilotons for fiscal 2026, below earlier guidance, citing higher costs and operational issues.
