PLS Group says energy security concerns driving demand growth

Australia's PLS Group, the country's largest independent lithium producer, said it is seeing deepening demand for the battery metal, partly driven by energy security concerns. The miner nearly doubled its third-quarter spodumene production and beat analyst estimates, with CEO Dale Henderson noting customer talks during a recent China visit confirmed a recovery in EV demand.
