Glencore expects DRC cobalt exports to normalize in line with 2026 quotas

Glencore said it expects cobalt exports from the Democratic Republic of Congo to normalize over the course of 2026, in line with remaining quotas. Congo's government suspended exports in February 2025 to support cobalt prices, then introduced export quotas last October. Glencore's quota for 2026 plus the allocation carried over from 2025 totals 22,800 tons.
