US firm building cobalt refinery signs Congo supply deal

EVelution Energy has signed a supply deal with Eurasian Resources Group to source Congolese cobalt feedstock for its planned Arizona refinery. The plant, expected to be operational by 2029, will manufacture cobalt metal and battery-grade sulfate, helping reduce US dependence on Chinese processing.
