Russia is concerned by US and European Union efforts to secure access to rare earths and critical minerals in Central Asia, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told Izvestia. G7 nations have been exploring alternative markets in resource-rich Kazakhstan and neighbors to diversify away from China, which dominates global rare earths supply chains.
