Carney fast-tracks $1.5B Nouveau Monde Graphite mine

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced construction is starting on Nouveau Monde Graphite's Matawinie mine in Quebec, just six months after referral to Ottawa's Major Projects Office. The project will become the largest graphite mine in the G7, creating more than 1,000 jobs and attracting nearly C$2 billion in investment.
