Trafigura-backed Terrafame studies producing scandium in Finland

Trafigura-backed Terrafame has launched a pre-feasibility study to produce scandium from a side stream of its uranium recovery plant in Finland. If the project advances, Terrafame would become Europe's sole producer of scandium, a rare earth metal essential to defense, aerospace and alloy applications.
