New South Wales green lights $497M Copi critical minerals project

Australia's New South Wales state has approved RZ Resources' A$693 million ($497 million) Copi mineral sands mine project, expected to produce up to 400,000 tonnes of critical mineral ore per year for 18 years. The mine will yield titanium minerals and rare earth elements including monazite and xenotime, with first production targeted for early 2029.
