Rio Tinto's aluminum exports to US rebound to pre-tariff levels

Rio Tinto says its aluminum shipments to the US have rebounded to pre-tariff levels, with North American flows back to roughly 80% after sliding to the mid-60% range when Washington raised the tariff on the metal to 50%. The company had redirected Canadian-produced aluminum to Europe during the tariff offensive but now sells the vast majority of its Canadian output back into the US market.
