Reliance, Vedanta, Adani join India's drive to cut China rare earth dependence

Indian industrial groups Reliance, Vedanta and Adani are among about 10 companies that have expressed interest in developing facilities to process Andhra Pradesh's significant rare earth reserves. New Delhi is pushing to reduce India's dependence on China for rare earths used in magnets and electronics.
