Zimbabwe lithium miners ask for more time to build processing plants

Lithium miners in Zimbabwe have asked the government for more time to build processing facilities ahead of a January 2027 ban on concentrate exports. Producers say they need longer to comply with rules designed to push more domestic value addition into the lithium supply chain.
