Hyundai backs ioneer's Nevada lithium-boron project

Shares in Australian developer ioneer jumped after it secured support from two South Korean groups — Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development and Hyundai Engineering — for its Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project in Nevada. Targeting production by 2029, Rhyolite Ridge is one of North America's most advanced lithium sources and hosts the continent's only known lithium-boron reserve.
