Savannah to resume lithium work after 3-week halt as Portugal backs project

London-listed Savannah Resources will resume work on its Barroso lithium project in northern Portugal after the government declared it of national and European strategic importance and a court injunction was lifted. Barroso is Europe's largest spodumene deposit, with a final investment decision expected by year-end and first production targeted for 2028.
