US army bases to host critical minerals plants in onshoring push

The US Army will let REalloys, Titan Mining, ioneer and EnergyX build critical minerals processing plants on military bases to handle rare earths, graphite, lithium and boron — a first-of-its-kind onshoring push by the Trump administration to cut reliance on China. The move follows China's new export controls on US producers MP Materials and USA Rare Earth.
