Japanese corporate filings flagging rare-earth supply risks have more than doubled since May as China keeps export restrictions in place, with customs data showing no shipments of terbium or dysprosium oxide to Japan from November through May. Tokyo is racing to secure alternatives through allied supply deals with the US, recycling programs and deep-sea mining projects, though analysts warn the impact could exceed the 2010 rare-earth crisis.
