Natural Resources Canada has launched the Open Science and Data Platform (OSDP), a digital hub that centralizes scientific and regulatory data to help streamline mine permitting reviews while improving transparency. The tool is part of Ottawa's push to accelerate approvals for mining projects, including critical-minerals developments, as Canada works to close a competitiveness gap with faster jurisdictions.
